Rear Diffuser and LED lights?

Hey guys,

I've been looking for a decent rear diffuser and I think I've settled on one, but I'm not entirely sure of it.... I think it's the old style RE amiya one... But has anyone seen the Mazdaspeed version??

Also, I've recently upgraded my headlights to HID's and the parking lights look extremely dull and yellow... So I was thinking of upgrading all the lights to LED's...
Has anyone done this or know of a company that sells LED replacements for our cars???

It's taken a little over 4yrs but the car is finally done!! Just a few cosmetic changes....

Thanks,
Lates,

I run the white 194 LEDs on my 99 front lenses. It looks 100 times better then regular 194s. They will also work on the stock turn lenses. I got them off ebay for about 12 bucks shipped.

Thanks 93fd3s... I was hoping to find some of those LED's in that model...

I just hope they make the same for the rear tail lights and brake lights...

I'll check out ebay...

Thanks Rockshox... However, I was just thinking of replacing the bulbs and not modifiying my whole light assemblies....

I don't mind getting rid of those 194 bulbs that are used for the majority of the little lights... but, the rear tail lights and brake lights will have to be looked at more carefully....

I've gone to ebay and taken a look... the only bulbs I can't find in LED's are the turn signals and the high center brake light...

I bought PIAA Xtreme White Wedge Bulbs (aka HID bulbs) for my 99spec fogs (Part # PIA19172). COost $14.50, and they're very bright. Had 'em for over 2 years now, and I am very pleased.

led bulbs wont be bright enough for the brake lights or turn signals. also the center rear brake light uses bulbs at a 90 degree angle and I have only seen led replacements that point straight.

Isn't that what you're using? I assume you mean the run of the mill LEDs from mom & pop shops?

Yeah, I was afraid some people would say that....
And it's true... it takes a few LED's to make the same brightness as the conventional bulb...

At the most I'll probably change the front parking lights... otherwise the rest of them will stay stock bulbs...

Now, on to the diffuser...

Thanks Mazdabation.... but I've decided to keep all my stock bulbs the way they are.. I was following one of those new Cadi's with the LED's in the back... and to tell you the truth, it just wouldn't fit the image of our cars... it takes a whole bunch of LED's to have the same effect as 1 single conventional bulb...

So at the most I'll change the front parking lights to LED's (small wedge bulb isn't enough... severe difference between those lights and the HID's!)

And I've also decided to get the rear diffuser from Rotaryextreme... it'll more than do the job I want to...

Just gotta find the money to do it now...

Thanks again guys...
