Rear Damage Repair?

Whats up guys, I just bought an S14 for $500 and I need some advice on how to fix the rear quarter. Heres the damage:

I was thinking
1. take off the rear bumper cover. throw away
2. remove the taillights. throw away
3. take a hammer to that quarterpanel and get it as close as i can
4. bodyfiller (bondo? something stronger?)
5. replace rear bumper cover and taillights with new units (used..but new to me)
6. i dunno WHAT to do with the trunk...

ANY advice is appreciated guys, thanks much

Is it possible to find another s14 with other damage and strip parts from it?

That looks hella rough back there, but 500 bucks is a pretty decent deal I would think.

if you know dick about bodywork.. i would see if you could find someone that does.

you will need to replace the entire rear quarter.. take a pen and outline the parts that are damaged. take into account the possiblity of parts warping.. then drill out all the spot welds on both your car and the doner car in that area.. just dont cut/weld make sure all the cutting are on spot welds and all the welding is done there also.. it should go back together like it came apart..

hope that helps

Awesome, thanks guys. I'm going to talk to my dad's friend tomorrow, he owns a body shop and can hopefully point me in the right direction. After that, get ready for Project ...idk...Project something. I'll think of something. I'll also start up a thread to detail the fixing of this hideous quarterpanel.
