Ok, no problem, don't need to ask the customer if it's too much of a hassle. I just thought the wheels look very nice that's all. I like aftermarket wheels which look like they could easily be OEM wheels.

They look like Z06, Advan/AVS T5 and Prodrive GC-05K wheels.

...hope any of you guys who already installed this kit could help me:

1. How did you fix the problem with the fuel filler cap? I got my kit used and without instructions, so i had the problem after installing the rear fenders i couldn't open the fuel cap.

how to fix this...?

2. What kind of screws you used for the rear fenders? I guess tapping screws would look a bit "cheap", so i thought of using riveting nuts and screws with a hexagon socket...

I need an advise espacially for the first point...'m afraid of heating and bending the hinge, guess this would damage the material and i'm not sure if it can be fixed to move smoothly..?

My kit came with a fiber glass gas door but no hinge. The body shop that did the install cut the factory hinge and added a custom metal section and spaced out the latch. Then used either epoxy or more fiberglass to attach the fiberglass gas door. Then covered the hinge with fiberglass and such to make it look better. Looks great and works well enough. Clearance is a bit tight when opened all the way it hits the fender, but i just turn the gas pump to the side a bit and no problems.
My kit did not come with instructions of any kind. Are you running an Originial RE or replica?

I used rivets for the rear fender and then had the holes filled in.

The hinge has to be moved out about an inch and a half. If not it will hit the side of the car when you open the gas door. Ill post a pic later tonight. I made a whole new hinge but I think the stockers will work if you move it out. And add length to the catch. My kit was a knockoff so the rear quarter didn't fit to suit me so I fiberglass them on. No screws holding them. Looks great.

Should say you need to cut the metal inside the gas door where the hinge swings. The actual side of the car.

thanks guys, this already helps me, these hinges look nice but would take time to build, so i would prefer to modify the standard hinge...

Any tips and recommendations how to do this...?

As carbonfiber told me, he also got this this fiber glas door, which needs to put on the standard door. So i guess RE-Amemiya is telling in the instructions how to modify the hinge...

Nobody here who has done that?

Just found this thread. The car is looking extra awesome.

I have the replica RE-GT kit available for all those willing to buy it. Both Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber materials are available and I can ship it to you without any problem.

Just PM me in case you are interested to get a set (or just part of it).

Marc

Ive finally acquired this kit locally but it is the JKL kit with the N1-05 bumper. Looks good carbonfiber, any plans to run the front fender add ons? I also plan to run them but in carbon.

Hi guys.. Got the same kit with 99 spec lights but its a replica.. I have a 94 with usd rebar.. How is the rebar modified to put on the bumper? I cut the light area like a 99 spec but it won't fit flush. Without the rebar I can mount the bumper. Thanks
