Hello, yes I’ve tried searching and watching YouTube videos on installing stereos in FD’s and after 30 min I gave up. So basically I know what the 2 larger plugs are for, but this third wire I don’t know what it’s for.

Any help would be appreciated,

I don't recall seeing that wire at all. If you try tracking it black you might get an idea of where it comes from..
