Interior drivers door linkage mechanism

I have a broken lock on my 1984 mazda rx7 gsl se. I took the interior panel down and see the issue. While outside the car the door won’t open but inside it does. Then top of the linkage when yiunooen the door is not connected to the rod to lift it up. Does anyone know what that part is called and here can I get it

Based on your description, it sounds like the door latch linkage may be disconnected or broken. The part that you are looking for is called the door latch release rod or door lock rod.

You can try looking for this part at a local auto parts store or online auto parts retailer. Alternatively, you can also check with Mazda dealerships or specialty Mazda parts suppliers.

When purchasing a replacement part, it's important to make sure that it's compatible with your specific make and model of Mazda RX7 GSL SE. You may want to consult with an <!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->emergency locksmith N11 or an experienced car enthusiast for advice on choosing the right replacement part and installing it properly.
