Radio Install question

Hey I'm new to the site. Just curious if anyone has a link that details a radio install?

first you need to specify what year of car you have, then you need to look in the correct section for your car, then either look up a fsm (factory service manual) or go buy a haynes manual

i didn't have to remove my stock radio because it was done for me, but usually there are 2 holes on either side of the radio. i just stick a u shaped piece of coat hanger into both sides (about 3-4 inches of length goes inside the holes) and push them outwards while pulling towards you. this should release the clips holding the radio in. now all you need is the proper harness adapter (or wiring diagram should you choose to hardwire)

good luck

Well I finally had a chance to get the radio out and well to my surprise the wire harness has been chopped up its pretty bad. If anyone has a spare laying somewhere that would be great or so simple directions on hardwiring it that works to.
