Radar Install
I looked but couldn't find a related thread.
Anyways, I am going to install my Valentine-One this weekend. I want to parasite off of a switched wire.
Which would you recommend? What is the easiest.?
I don't want to have a dumbass cord running down to the cigarette lighter.

Sorry, I can't remember the exact wire I used for my V1. Just go buy a testor with a lightbulb in it for a couple of dollars and start at your fuse box and see which wires are switched. Seems like there were only two, so it wasn't much of a decision......

I mounted mine on a flat metal bracket above the rear view mirror to keep it out of view. The bracket is a flat SS plate that mounts under the clip bracket that holds the dome/map light in place. In this location it is much easier to hit mute that when on the windshield.
I have the remote display mounted just between the steering column and cigarette lighter socket. Using the V1 power hardwire connected to the upper left male spade connector in the fuse block above the dead pedal. This male spade is powered when ign is on.
