What lip do you guys prefer on the stock 93-95 front end?

 

I prefer the r1 on the 93-95 bumper. THe 99 lip should be left on the 99 bumper. THeres a thread on this already, search "r1 lip".

 

I'm am more of a fan for the 93 lip with the 93 bumper, than the 99 lip with the 93 bumper.

 

i guess it depends on everything else..like wheels, drop..

i seen some fd's with the 93-95 front and have the 99 lip, and it looks great..

Yeah I'm a fan of the R1 lip on the 93-95 bumper as well. I used to have the 99 lip on the 93 bumper, but I got bored of the 93 bumper, so I got the 99 bumper to match my 99 lip haha.

99 'Spec has more purpose than the '93. Your choice should depend on whether you are going for looks or function.

Not to be too critical or anything but that wing on the back of that car doesn't have much purpose ! It's not adjustable, and doubt it's wind tunnel tested !

 

Get both & switch them off every now & then.

 

It's based on the R1 wing (which does have a purpose). It's slightly larger than the R1 and there is a difference at higher speeds. However, it doesn't have near the amount of downforce that is provided by the '99 Spec or GT wings.
