Quick Question.. kinda stupid but I'm bored.

I got this 15" JBL sub in a ported box sitting in my house, and it's doing nobody any good in here. I was wondering if I could like.. take the wires leading to one of my rear speakers and just run that to the sub. I know it wouldn't be nearly enough power and probably sound like ****, but I don't care.. I have the day off work and have nothing to do. :/ So.. would this work? and anyone know how i would go about doing it?

i did something like that, but it wasnt very loud. So it has since been disconnected. i just tapped into the wires from the rear speakers and connected the sub.

That isnt goin to do ****. You need to wire up an amp and get that sub pushing some real bass. Dont make your Rex ghetto like most of the other crap on the road, do it right.....
