Ok, this is what's going to happen, I'll send all of you a PM tomorrow to make sure you all know. I'm going to buy a front bumper and provide my paypal to all of you so we can divy up the price. That's basically what its going to take for them to make it. They estimated time is about 2 months for the turn around before they can ship us the bumpers. What I want to know is if you guys also want the lip so we can get that at the same time. I'm not sure on the price but I'm pretty sure it'll be about a 100 or so. Anyhow, I know I'd like to get this moving asap and this is what it's going to take. I'll send the amount I need from you guys tommorrow too. I'm going to have to talk to the Admins to make this official too. Wow, I have a lot to do. Wish me luck.

What is the final price?

I suggest requiring prepayment before you take orders so you don't get screwed on the deal.

yeah i want the lip also.
is it a true JDM lip tho?

i have some questions if we're using the original bumper.
1. do we need the rebar?
2. do we need the oil cooler ducts?
3. do we need any other things?

here's a list of things we need to convert it to the 99 spec front. correct me if i'm wrong

the 99 spec bumper itself
99 spec turn signals
turn signal harnesses?
99 spec front lip
rebar
oil cooler ducts

im sorry to sound like such a cop-out but the deal was more like once I saw pictures of fitment and what-not...then id be ready to drop some cash. If i have to already pay money just to buy the bumper for a mold, I guess you'll have to take me off the list.

well put siko. I don't think it's realistic to expect people to hand their money over blindly.

Well on the first post ChrisChung does state that VIS will supply photos of fitment. So I don't think it's an issue.

I think this GB should parrallel the 99 wing GB. In the sense that we should all chip in some money for the donor FIRST. And then buy the bumpers at the GB price

Ok, after some dilliberation, I figure getting the OEM lip and getting the VIS replica shipped from Cali will come out to the same price as buying an OEM. Same goes for the ducts. The replica turnsignals that was mention a while back doen't require a new harness. I'm trying to talk to Jason. Once that happens we'll deal with prepayment. I'll post a modified list of those who said they were in at a later time. I gotta run so we'll see where we are by tomorrow evening.

think about this: if vis makes these for our car, they will start mass producing them for every car out there. (like the 350z scoot hood )

also, is it made of fiberglass?

Ok guys, this is where I'm going to have to drop the ball. My free time just left my life faster than a crack-***** after a fix. Seriously though, I'm sorry that I'm gonna have to give up trying to get this to work, but my life just got a lot more busy. I won't bore you with the details. Important thing, anyone that wants to pick up on this and take over the duties of getting this GB going, I'd be more than willing to tell you anything that may help. Good luck to you guys.

P.S. As it stands right now, all that VIS needs is a bumper and 15 committed people to get this going. If you talk to the guys over at the 99spec wing GB, the can probably help out with getting GB discounts from who they know.

Can we do GTC one? They have GTC molding. So, we don't need to wait.
