I'm in, without holder of course. I think the strong response before figured you already have our names down, and not sure if we should post them again.

Where the hell have you been ??

Anyways, the cheap plastic bracket looks like crap. I honestly like how the 99spec one looks with the plate holder.

Sorry guys, I went up to Yale this weekend for a conference and that's why I've been out for so long. Here are the names I have down as of now then.

SiKoPaThX
Touring FD3S
jdhuegel1
Shinobi-X (maybe)
AznPhoenix
ptrhahn
DrewS2k
johnisenglish
Zyon13B
forcfed7
darkness
Xirius

That puts us at a current grand total of 12. Expect another update on the info by tuesday or wednesday. If you want to be taken off or added to the list please post here. Again, if anyone is going to talk to Jason in the near future, run this by him because that would help out a lot. Any questions or comments, post here. I'll be checking this periodically throughout the day again now that I'm back.

I'd be interested only after seeing good fitment and quality from the bumper.
If we can see pictures of good fitment prior to buying, you can count me in. (polyfiber)

Bottlefeed:
I'm not really sure about the wing GB cuz that's not my thing just yet, but if this works out and no one's snatched that up by then, I'll work on that one too. We'll see.

how well will the undertray fit w/ the bumper along with the lip. the only thing that i see happening is that you buy the bumper for say $300 maybe less, then you have to get the lights ($160 replicas or the jdm), then the rebar which will probably be around $200-$300 oem, then you have to buy the lip to go w/ the bumper for $170. Fitment w/ undertray, lip, fenders, and lights is still questionable but vis is usually good about fitment. so when i add this up it seems pretty close to being in the range for a true 99 spec bumper w/ all the above( which we know fitment will not be an issue and its made from polyurethane). this is the only thing that is keeping me from entering the list. so what do you guys think about it. any input in what im thinking could help.

I was under the impression that the undertray would fit fine because it's a mold of the actual bumper skin. I remember someone posting that they could hook us up with the lights for a decent price. I'm working on getting the lip for another 100 or so. (oil cooler ducts too) You don't need a new rebar, just modify yours which I hear isn't too hard. Then you consider all of that and then you'll see that you can have an authentic looking 99 spec polyfiber bumper without the license plate holder with expected good fitment for around 600 bucks which is less than half. That sounds like a good deal to me but if you want everything as JDM as possible, this may seem cheap to you.... To each their own.

Well we got our 15/14. What we need now is the front bumper and what not to send to VIS. So far there's been no word from Jason so I don't really know what's going on from him. I'll send him another PM tonight and try email again. Of the people who are interested, how many of you would also be interested in the 99 lip and the oil cooler ducts / brake ducts. It'll likely be cheaper than OEM and if you're going to do this all the way this is a pretty good chance. My guess on prices would be 100 for the lip and I have no clue on the ducts, but I thought I'd put that out there.

The important thing that I wanted to let you all know about was that we have to get the parts to VIS and I doubt that they'll go out and get them on their own so we may have to divide up the prices from the OEM stuff on top of the bumper price. I'm trying to get around this the best I can but if we get short on time, we'll have to do it that way. If anyone's opposed, or has a better idea, let me know. Thanks,

-Chris

PS. Everyone send Jason a PM and let him know what's going on. Maybe he's swamped with other stuff and maybe he doesn't get my PM's. Whatever. But if he were part of this, it could be a whole lot easier and maybe even a little cheaper. Who knows. But if you can, send him a little note and a link to the past two threads. THanks agian.
