Pretty good if applied right, I hit a wall at a local track in that wall and smashed the whole front end, except for a few spots the dip held. I was actually able to peel it afterwards and it made clean up easier, all the wall debris and paint from the wall went with it.
I lost most of the other pictures I had of that when dipped but I have some better shots of another car I did if you want to see the finish

that's no good mate, sounds pretty durable. how is plastidip in the harsh sun? I know with vinyl wrap its advised to keep it out of the sun.
that's the good thing about the plastidip to remove or prepare for a respray its heaps easier if you have put it on right.
I was able to find a few pics of the car off facebook, here's after the hit. Most of the white peeled off when I took the dip off
Here is a caliber I did for a friend, the Grey was a base coat for the top color. It came out very smooth didn't have any texture that I see people complaining about.
Here is the end result, she wanted a satin finish instead of the normal matte
The newer dip formula is very resistant to fade, the green that was on my car faded fast and hard. This car has been her daily for months and is always sitting out side and the green is just as vibrant

you must have hit the wall pretty hard mate to dint the intercooler piper what was the event where you drifting? the dip held up pretty good.
shes gotta be happy with that, that come up madd looks like a similar green to Kawasaki ninja green.
yea bad that green faded hard as. im surprized the black hasn't faded a bit with the boiling under bonnet temps.
No just lapping but I started acting like an *** and well karma hit me, the black didn't fade at all the Old black was more of a primer color compared to the new stiff on her car. Dip is pretty heat resistant so the Temps even on the turbo side and the back bumper where the exhaust exits had no signs of fatigue once so ever
She loves the color, even bought a sport bike to match.
that's always the way lol it could of been worse mate.
I might give dip a go on some interior bits, should have no dramas holding up in the cabin heat and is a lot easier to redo than paint or take off if need be.
