Bucket seat discussion.

So, I'm a little too big for my FD, and wanted some opinions of you fellow bucket seat owners as to what sits lowest. I'm 6'2 and it's darn hard to maneuver the clutch and steer with out smacking my knee on the steering wheel. Also, would the NRG quick release bring the steering wheel up a bit?

Yes, an aftermarket seat will lower your position and smaller steering wheel will also help. However, make sure you have a low enough seat like Bride Vios III low max. You will fit and you won't hit your knees with this combo. I know because my friend is 6'3 and is able to drive my car. Shameless plug but I do have seat mounts for sale.

You can have a lower seating position by having an offroad shop fabricate some custom mounts for you. In my opinion the offroad shops have more welding and fabrication time than the "tuner" shops. A "D cut" steering wheel would also be a good idea to clear your knees. example:

Saw one of these, it's definitely on my list. Thanks for your input!
