Looking for placemant of speakers in the FC door panels S4/S5 doesn't matter.I'm just curious what everyone's done custom wise for mounting them. Pics of other great audio mods for FC also welcome. I'm just really dissapointed with my system right now. Also does anyone make panles that i can add on to my doors to mount speakers? (no i dont want to use that small area above the armrest) So post your pics, and dont flame me if this is a overcovered topic, b/c the search results sucked. I'll post one to start. . . .

are those kick panels custom made or does someone make those ? cause they look nice i dont know bout putting a 10 or 12 in the door though but it does look good .

You didnt really read the first thread did you? i dont want pics with the custom speakers mounted in the stock (optional though) opening above the armrest.

Geez ... look at my link some more smart guy, the 6 1/2" is mounted in the bottom of the door panel, the 4" is mounted above the arm rest.

This install looks neat.. but the location of the tweeter makes it absolutely useless. Tweeters need to have a clear path to your ear unlike subs. Those are shooting into the bottom of the dash.. or your legs.

BTW, nice set-up Boostd 7. I also have a Nak cd-45z. For it's price you can't get anything with better SQ IMO.

 

Yeah i like that install aside from the choice of tweeter position and the fact that the speakers are unguarded, and its major theif bate.
