possible to get jdm paint?

I fell in love with the blue RS FD in gran turismo 3, and have always wanted one that color. my new FD needs a paint job so...I'd love to get ahold of some of that paint. anyone know if it is possible to find this anywhere? (I really know nothing about paint...)

here's a link to a car w/ that color on corksport's site: http://www.corksport.com/main.php3?p...tory60.content

JDM paint adds 10rwhp and helps cool the engine too.

there is nothing special about the paint, you just need the paint code. The color for that is called Innocent Blue Mica. Paint code 20p. Any paint shop can mix it.

Do a search if you want more info.

From my experience with spray painters - 'JDM paint' is a curse, not something to seek. Mazda are a typically bad example.

Impulse Blue

My Rex color is called "Impulse Blue" from DuPont. Expensive stuff, but I think it's worth it!

Actually thats Mazda RX7 RED, and Miata BLUE were the WORST colors ever made. Other then that the paints are holding up, both of these were off the much earlier years

As already stated, the paint code is all you need. All body shops mix their own paint in house.
