This one is basically sold.
I will have more. PM me if you just want me to do yours.
It's $200 to polish yours. $300 if its one of mine that I sell you.

Moderators, the image was linked not attached.
Please dont edit my post again.
It eats no bandwidth to link images.
So whomever deleted the images was wasting their time..

What are you using to polish the UIM, a Dremel with some cone sander bits? This sounds like a great job to do on a lazy day... any tips on how to get started?

It's $200 to polish yours.
$200.00 for just the UIM!

I had everything but the alternator (Turbo's not mine, it was being used as a template...mine's polished) done for $350.00.

That was rotor housings, throttle body, UIM, LIM, front cover, water pump...everything.

I'll get the contact info. The guy's in Dallas (Rowlett).

wow guys, all your polished stuff looks VERY nice - I know how much of a PITA it can be, too...working on my gf's 240SX right now, and both of our arms are pretty sore.

ianewk - would really appreciate that guys info, doing it by hand takes waaaaaay too long, and Dallas isn't a very far drive from here.

Yea thats what I said $200. Im not a pro shop and these projects take me longer than your guy im sure. So I charge accordingly.
If you wanna hook everyone up with his info feel free.
There are plenty of guys that need polishing to go around.
My parts look shinnier though
Dont make me post more pics.

I think with this guy you'd have to go through Marvelspeed and they've got more stuff going on than they know what to do with. You can give them a call and ask them, but I wouldn't count on it. Sorry if I got everyone's hopes up. When I go pick up the car I'll ask if the guy will work direct.

It's all in the lighting brutha

I'll let you all know what I find out next week.

You have to excuse my ignorance...What are cone sanders?....

are you talking about the conse they sell for dremels? I tried using that and it was pretty tough trying to keep the pressure of the dremel steady...Seemed to me like it did more harm than good (pits that is)
