Pioneer DEH-P7400MP normal?

i just got the Pioneer DEH-P7400MP and when i eject the cd, its really hot!! i know its suppose to be warm but its almost hot as a cup of coffee!! the front speakers are stock and the rears are kicker 525i i have no sub or amps. this is the first head unit i bought so i really dont know if this is normal or not. thanks.

it all depends on the length you played the cd or how long the cd player has been on, pioneers always seem to be hot.

I have the same head unit, and yea the cd's do get rather hot.

Internal amplifiers in the Pioneer get hot, and thus the cd will also... You think yours is hot you ought to feel one in a late model Thunderbird, where they sit high in the dash and there is NO ventilation in them...
