I don't know about red and yellow, remind me of McDonald.

Yeah it is a rare combination - but the Flash gets away with it.

I did red on my red vert with black letting but it really isn't even noticeable. Black even less so. I think that if I go with black wheels it will probably tone down the yellow but I am not sure.

The other option I am thinking about is a bronze-orange that will complement the updated turn signals.

Just go with black. They are going to get dirty and grimy anyway.

This is the color theme that interests me... Car make and shape should be ignored.

Gold or bronze would look better with black wheels imo...

Add red lettering if you want to tie everything in.

I think you are right. I am leaning bronze. Now if only I can find a bronze rattle can.

Unless you have them professionally coated, it doesn't hold up well. I did mine in red with my old FD. I can tell you that my replacements were painted black after dealing with it for a while.

My left front FD caliper was black... had been for years. The paint has held up well, it just doesn't add anything - which is why I never got around to painting the right front.

My FC calipers are red with black lettering... have been for years. The paint has held up well, it just doesn't add anything.

The yellow certainly does stand out though. I'll live with it for a while and see how I like it.

I think Gold would look beautiful, like that Brembo gold with either red or black lettering. Just my 2 cents

Picture in dark... Better one in daylight later... But I think it looks good, and is not every day common...

I do think it will look better with new or refreshed wheels - especially black wheels.

Don't overthink it.
If you like the way it looks, then who cares what we say?

I think yellow has potential, but not the yellow that you used. I think your yellow looks too pastel and Eastery. I think you need a more yellow, yellow. If that makes sense.

I've thought about a more coppery yellow. I need to find a extra to experiment with.

Brembo gold that someone suggested earlier would look great and so would silver. The yellow just clashes against the red, especially that yellow in particular. There is no need for bright colored calipers on a bright car.

Brembo Gold below

I have a VR with Yellow calipers and absolutely hate it, reminds me of McDonald's every time I look at it. I'm switching it to black in a few weeks.
