thanx for the pic, i dont know if i would ever paint CF. Plus im gonna have a lot of CF on my car so i think it will match. the sleek light housing is CF, feed type2R bumper has CF fins, RE sideskirts have CF, and a CF rear diffuser. So I think I'm gonna just clear coat, otherwise its not even worth spendin the $$$ for CF.

t88nosrx7 - chucks stuff is nice. RX7TT95 on the board has a feed type 2 bumper and it looks nice as hell. Most people are real pleased with chucks work. I was gonna go with the widebody too, but i didnt wanna go through buyin new rims an all. What size rims you gonna run, they gotta be like 12+ width. That will be SicK when you have it done.

...yeah... strong, lightweight - those aren't important reasons for getting carbon fiber.

hehehe whatever floats your boat.

Ok, first of all, you guys should know that CF is really not that much lighter or stronger then fiberglass (except for dry carbon but thats another story). The only reason why you should be buyin CF is for the look! Well that and trying to deflect laser guns from the cops. I'm going will a full carbon body after my engine swap and I got some friends which are cops which have laser guns, I'll report back later if they can get a reading on my car.

I love the knightsports hood SO much. I wan't to put it on my black FD, but I'm wondering if it comes with the rain gaurds, like in the picture above.

im pretty sure those are just wire grills and not rain guards.

P.S. I have found that, rain guards dont do very much

In fact, I have too. When you put them in, they sort of defeat the purpose of having a vented hood. The thing is, I'd prefer to have some rain guards her in MD during spring. It rains a lot. As for the wire grills, I've seen people make custom ones. The ones on that hood look very nice, and is very similar to what I had planned.
