I forgot I still had some bare metal exposed on parts of the rear quarter and lid that I was working on. Stupid rain. I'm gonna have to resand n primer those areas.

oh yeah, I'm getting rid of the rims on this car and putting stock FD rims on it. If anyone wants the rims let me know. They're the TII polished rims, but the tires that are on them are the wrong size. It should be 50 series, but the tires are only 40 series. If anyone wants the whole set i'm getting rid of it for pretty cheap.

how much did you get your s5 bumper for?
The difference between the s4 and s5 mouldings> the s4 mouldings have the split in the middle?
Yeah during that pic, the car had no springs installed on it =P

about how long do you let the primer dry before you start painting because the the store i bought my paint said let it dry for 30 min then paint and then clear or can you wait about a day or 2 to let the primer dry and the primer i am using is epoxy primer and ppg paint and clear

You can achieve a much better finish if you wet sand the primer "flat", the less orange peel there is on there the better the paint will come out.PLus you can fix any mistakes at this time before you paint.
I dont use PPG primers so I cant tell you the window time, but generally if it sat more then a day or 2, it will have to be sanded, check the can and if the info isnt on there ask the place you got it from.
I use DuPont and AwlGrip primers and I know how to use those, just not that PPG, ive only used the "wet-on-wet" PPG Epoxy primer a few times at a customers request.
