Painting A/C Vents

I can't figure out how to get the damn vents out and don't see any topics pertaining to it when I search. Would anybody be able to tell me how to do this?

Also, what kind of paint would be the best to use on them?

Thanks

Edit: It would probably help if I told you my car is a 94.

What color? Baby Blue? Pink? Perhaps rainbow?

Sorry Saten, but I'm actually not gay.

I want to paint them a violety blue... my entire interior is plain black. And not the whole vent, just the part surrounding the fins. I don't want my car to be like every other RX-7.

I guess you haven't seen Redline Goods's advertisement for shift and e-brake boots. One of the colors he advertises is "Violety Blue"... it's just a dark blue and I plan on buying from him in the near future.

Man, my bad. It's just that the last time I checked, the title was in my name... not yours.

Does anybody know how to do this? I don't want to end up breaking something.
