FD3S Conversion

Heres the thing I have 86 fc3s, I want to know how much modification is need to straight bolt up a hood, headlights, fenders, front bumper cover to my 86 frame without cutting the hole clip off welding a new frame on. Is this at all possible?undefinedundefined

That's stupid... Might as well buy a FD (make sure you don't turn it into a skyline wannabe with supra taillights).

the best way is to tune up your FC and

1.back it up against a wall and pull e-brake really hard.
2. have a friend let you borrow his/her FD
3. mark 100' in front of the FC
4. put FD in reverse and slam in the front of the FC.
5. get a buffer and beging to buff out the potential scratches you caused.

I know another member is using the panels, hood, and front bumper on h is FC but you have to cut and weld and custom fab crap to make it work. If you wanted an FD you should have saved a tad longer to buy an FD.

and remember ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WITH AN UNLIMITED BUDGET.

It has been done in Japan.
It is not a simple bolt on. Requires new fenders, and probably new support brackets for both the front bumper and the hood.
