Paint job...
I have an S4 NA that going in the shop right now to get the S5 front end on. I have dealt with them in the past, and they've done a lot of stuff for my family. Anyways, they offered to paint my car (body work, all parts installed, prime, everything) for 1500 total.
I thought that was a pretty good price considering there are a few dings, scratches, dents, and the S5 bumper has seen better days. They do excellent work btw, looks factory. So they showed me a book full of colors, and suggested a few. One that really caught my eye is the "Aurora Blue" that came on some 07 mazdas.
What do you guys think of this color on an FC?
Someone should provide pictures, especially if they've done a similar color.
And show off some of your new paint jobs as well, so I can get some other ideas. I can pretty much get any color I can think of, just no metallic/candy stuff.

Well, I really want that color. I think it'll be an interesting change on an FC, and it looks amazing.
I agree, once you've gotten used to a color, it's hard to leave it. I wanted to change the color of my car as soon as I got it, but the silver just grew on me, and now I'm hesitant to get this color done.

It's getting primered next week, then paint hopefully the second week of january.
The shop is called Super Auto Body and Paint off 7th street in victorville. It was gonna b like 2k or something for the paint, but because I get my body work done there, I get discounts =D
So for all the body, prime and such i got it for the above posted price of 1500.
If ur ever down in the area, yell at me. If you want to go by and check it out, I'll show u the place.

Here's pics of the body work. The primer goes on next!
Tell me what you think. Everything but the fenders was done by me, and that's because they had to be drilled into the body due to broken clips, and I didn't want to mess with that.
What color primer would be best with the color I've chosen? I was thinking about black as it's completely different from the paint, but are there any blending issues I should worry about?

Hey here are a few pics of my cars. my two FD's and my gen 2, the gen 2 is painted subaru gold and the purple fd is a one off colour. My new FD has just been painted in Innocent blue mica from the "00" RX7's. looks great too.
Good luck, FC's can look amazing with the right mods and colour.
