after a hell of a lot of hard work and late nights.. its finally done. Well.. for now

Looks good, why didn't you have the engine bay painted also?

 

we're waiting till we pull the motor down the road to paint the engine bay. And new rims are in process. I dont know if I should stick with a black rim with a polished lip or something different.

 

So are you going 99 spec front? plate or plateless?

 

So how much input did you have on painting the car? Sounds like you had a good hand or two in it. Exotic color looks good.

I'd agree with the others and stay away from black wheels. The look is kind of overdone.

 

Didn't you want to paint the bumpers at the same time so they'll match?

 

I still have the stock bumpers on not 99 spec. My boyfriend did 98% of the the work while I did what I could and helped out a little with sanding, whatever I could do without messing too much up. And we painted the bumpers with the same batch of paint at the same psi so they would match in the 2nd booth. Oh and the color is mazda protege "spicy orange". Im very happy with it.

Just wondering why the rebar was cut to acomadate the 99 spec turn signals?

 

Like it , thats very close to the color of my FC looks like your has a bit more pearl added though

 

Oh ya we tried out a cwest knock off kit and it just wasn't fitting as well as planned so we stayed stock.

 

My boyfriend pointed out you forgot to mention faster.

such a shame, laubs car was so nice when it was black, and now it's a rice fest.. Althought he has won a ton of competitions.....every show I go where his 7 is at, their are atleast one or two nicer looking fd's....
