For a road car, I have no idea why you want to put a cage in it to begin with. However, I would recommend going with a flat black (to reduce any extra shine or glare it may produce).

You'll want Satin Black. Gloss is too gaudy and never use flat black. The first time you touch flat black it soaks up the oil from your skin and you'll never get it off.

You'll be very happy with Satin Black

What kind of paint are you using? I've never had that happen with a proper flat paint (i.e. not primer).

Seriously. Its risky driving a car with a cage on the street w/o a helmet. Do some research on that.

I do an about 8 -10 track days a year in my FD. I don't have a roll bar and don't ever plan on installing one unless it is paired with a proper fixed back seat and harnesses and I wind up driving it less on the street.

They released a sweet new product a week or two ago that removes those oily fingerprints you're talking about, almost instantly. Its called... soap.

+1 on Majik and gracer7-rx7.

It's pointless, annoying and dangerous to have a rollcage if you are not wearing a helmet, but I'd say flat/satin black would look the best.

I personally like Takata green but only on a white or black or silver car.
