OPINIONS: FEED Type II R Body Kit
in the past few months, we've seen a lot of excitement with the production of replica feed type ii r front bumpers. however, i'm curious, how come no one has gone for buying the rest of the kit (the fenders and side skirts with carbon fiber)?
okay, yes, its really expensive but someone out here must've been interested in this kit. are the front feed fenders wider than stock or does it just get rid of the vent for open air? are the cf diffusers on the side skirts functional? it doesn't appear to come with a rear bumper thoe.
the front end looks really mean if you're looking straight at it but from angles on the side and from the rear 3/4s it doesn't look as good. the cf diffusers on the otherwise rather plain looking side skirts really interests me. the other kit in contention for me would be the venerable cwest kit. however, i'm not entirely sold on their side skirts either. the cwest kit seems to have the reputation for being functional which is good and it looks fantabulous as well, possibly more so than the feed kit here. and i've seen many versions of it being combined with mazdaspeed side skirts/fenders which looks nifty too. again, just my opinion here.
here are the pictures i could find of the feed kit. most of them are off of chuck's (rotaryextreme) website. i was wondering if anyone had more pictures so i could get a better look at it? also, what are people's thoughts were on its functionality throughout as a kit? in comparison to the cwest kit? what are people's thoughts? thanks.

How much is your time and sanity worth?
Why save $300 on bumper when it costs the bodyguy 5 more hours @ 60/hr to fit/finish it. What a deal!
OK im off my rant. Email me for GENUINE parts at the lowest pricing.

the 99 doesn't fit the Feed IIR bumper... also this bumper cost around $2000... there isn't any replica of this bumper because the turning light are made by feed... but if you want a cheaper look alike try the replica Feed II not the Feed IIR.. it cost cheaper.. around 650... the feed II looks almost the same and it use the 99 spec turning lights..
you know what mean...

Acording to one of the rotaryextreme guys, 99specs will fit. There was a thread not long ago where he talked about it. basically, the feed combo lights are attached to a bracket and slipped in through the back. Then you just put that plastic cover over the front. the 99 spec lights slip in through the front normally. Check out a pic of the IIR and compare it to the one TPC posted. You can see that the plastic feed covers fit into that "beveled" area.
