No $ + FD + Rattle Can
Wow not bad, not bad at all. How many cans did you go through and how well does it last? Also, did you spray the bumper? I dunno if it's just the picture but it looks like it's a different shade of black.

4 cans of primer and 4 cans of gloss. The car has a gloss black paint job on it (which is pretty shitty quality for a real paint job), however most of the car was bondo because I molded in the new Shine kit. So, I only sprayed the spots that had bondo or the paint was scuffed up - I did not paint the front bumper. This is only temporary to cover the bondo and until I can afford to get a real paint job. Until then, rattle can will reign supreme.
i thought only FC guys were this cheap?
actually looks not that bad. looks like a fairly even color and certainly better than bondo. good prep and **** paint usually comes out better than good paint and **** prep

Looks pretty decent although i cant see how people can do that to their cars. I would rather pay 300-500 bucks for a cheap maaco job before i do the rattle can.
But it came out OK though.
I wonder what it looks like under sunlight though.
Any paint condition looks good in the shade.

Paint doesn't cost as much as you'd think, an HVLP spray gun set from Harbor Freight and all the lines, pressure regulator, air drier, air filter all cost me under $110 my 21 gallon compressor was $149. Paint prices vary quite a bit.
