NEXT Miracle x-Bar compatible with Harness?
Hi, does anyone know if the NEXT Miracle X-Bar is compatible with harnesses? I'm looking for a harness bar for track day use but dont want to cut and weld a full cage, as the car sees street use. Thanks for all your input and info!

it would work, just wrap the harness around the bar.
but whether it's recommended or not is another story. I dont think NEXT designed it for a harness, as there isn't any eyelets or any harness guides hence i wouldn't do it. Also a 4 point harness without a cage will potentially make it less safe, compared to a regular 3 point seat belt (i am sure others can chime in on this topic)

I've also read that a 4 point harness without a cage isn't as safe, in the event of a rollover you would be stuck in your driving position while the roof collapsed and with a 3 point you could move/slide off to the side.
AGI makes a 4 point bolt-in cage that I would consider instead, they quoted me somewhere around $1,400 shipped to the east coast with the X bar.
