Attaching interior door corner sails on FD

Hey all,

I thought this would just snap on, but it doesn’t seem to. Am I just inept? Totally possible as I’m new into fixing up cars. Or do I have to glue it or something? Thanks!

They do just snap on. Take it out of the bag, line the tabs up with corresponding holes and pop it in with your hand. Done.

Do they come with the metal springs on the tabs when they're new like that? If they're missing then they won't snap in since it's the spring that does the snapping

They do come with metal tabs (see picture) but they don’t seem to catch on anything. Are these what you are talking about?

I guess I will try again? Thanks!
