ok this is for those fortunate few that know how to do some body work, not that its very hard, but it can be time consuming when it comes to fabbing your own ideas.
looking for that custom touch to break out from the pack and stand out?
try customizing a stock wing from another type of car. doesnt have to be exotic
tweeking makes all the differenced in looks.
for instance i once put a stock 86 fiero gt spoiler on an 89 z24 cav. after chopping the risers to give it a sleek but agressive angle, fitment wasnt hard spent no money on any extra hardwhare. used a porsche whail tail on the fiero.
Another idea that im doing to my FD (witch i hope to not see anyone else do til im done with mine lol ) is a three piece spoiler from a 70 z28 camaro or t. a.
the size isnt what really matters here unless you are looking to be driving 120+ everywhere you go. with little tweeks to stock style spoilers and wings you can get that agressive look. you could also mount another bigger style wing or spoiler over top of it to get an exotic double wing look .
SO GET CREATIVE THE SKY IS THE LIMMIT WHEN IT COMES TO FABRICATION

yeah thats the spoiler thats going on itand no its not a stock fd have the b sport wide body from duraflex going on it plus a corvette style rear tail light conversion
and the jdm dual beam head light conversion gt300 flared hood and im putting saleen type louvers up the rear fenders
black on 19 10.5 rear and 19 8.5 front hyper black tenzo gt6hb rims toyo tires

 

i will have to shave the spoiler a bit to get i to fit right but i think it will look supurb when im done

I think a saw this in some video. But have you guys seen the Saleen spoiler on the new mustangs? It doesn't go higher than the deck lid it just goes out. That type f wing i think would look really sweet. Like I said I might have seen it in a video or a post of an FD from Japan.

see i was looking for for that exact look but i coudnt fint one anywhere so i figured i could get the same look from the 71 camaro only a little more clean looking because it wont have any rivits or bolts or pins visable also the jdm taillight conversion that makes it look like corvette tailights has a rearward purtruding lip that will set it off pretty well
doing the 2008 zo7 motor swap in a year or so durring my next deployment

 

personally i am not a fan of the Ls1 swap but the Zo7 swap is awesome

its only about 4 or 5 days in progress working on it durring my weeekends should be done here soon any wuestions that anyone has on how i did it i will be glad to answere for

i still have to shave the stock rear fenders underneith and fill with foam and then body fill the underside to make a new wheel well for the rear tires, also sending my 10.5 rear tenzo rims in for 13.5 or 14 rears to fill in the newly found space from the wide body

yes they may have beaten me to it but this is just somthing that im doing myself im not paying anyone to do it so i take a little more pride in knowing that im not a shop owner or what ever that has all the time and the money to do something like this and that i will still have a one of a kind rx7 when im done this was the point of doing it to try and make a rare car more rare and desirable. i think that i have succeded. ive gotten many many compliments on it and its not done it still looks like hell becase of the lack of paint but when its done then this will be a daily driver single turbo wide body rx7 unlike the damn neer show car of shine auto mine will be iof the quality but done by a guy that has a hobby.
