Need opinions and ideas on how to deal with my car's roof.

For those who haven't seen my car before here's a pic:

I'm pretty much the only person around with a coupe rx7 that been converted to targa. Problem is it was done shitty and the way it was cut messes up the lines of the car, it could be much better. Did i mention it leaks like a ****** vagina?

Should I make it stock with the sunroof again?
or
Should i fix it right?

Either one would involve quite a bit of fabrication fitting etc. I think i could make the targa roof alot better, and use vert doors and what not to make the car complete. (make the roof out of carbonfiber, or fiberglass for weight) could be freaking awesome, then again i wouldn't mind having a sun roof, but even if i welded the roof back in, i dont think it'll ever be the same.

Couldn't you just use weatherstripping of some sort to seal it up well?

Personally, I don't see "fixing" it as an option. You'd put way too much energy and effort into it, IMO.

I like the look. It's unique. Take it to a body shop and have a new plexi targa top made with a matching rubber trim to keep out the rain.

I think i'll just buy another shell, and put everything on that, and take the targa shell to the junkyard to be crushed.
