Well I just bought a '91 coupe, and I'm a pretty tall guy.... I fit in the car just fine, but the top of my hair kinda rides on the ceiling of the car.... So I think one of the first things I am gonna do is get a new seat for the driver's side that will lower the seating position about an inch or two....

Keep a couple things in mind:
It needs to be adjustable and comfortable (of course)....
It needs to sit a little lower than the stock seat....
It can't be too expensive, I'm a poor college student....

So, what are your suggestions....

Haha, I almost do that with my sunroof allready....

I think the main thing I need to look for is the seat brackets.... But I'm still not sure....

 

the seat brackets for those courbeus are like 90 bucks i think (for passanger and driver together) -- made just for the fc rx-7 -- seriously thought just look around im sure you can find something -- im 6'0 and i have no problems but if you were bigger i can see the issue -- if your willing to spend the money check out bride low-max (i think thats the name -- im too lazy to google for you right now lol)

most seat brackets and race seats actually sit a bit higher than stock in the FC, from my experience over the years.
You might just need to get some and have a local fab sop cut them down for a few bucks..
