Primary injector lower seals

There is a silver dot on the lower seals.
What is it for?
Thanks.

Don't think I had that mark when I installed mine. Looking at your photo, it looks like there is a difference between the top and bottom faces. One face has a small chamfer. The opposite face has a lip.
