Need help with making a decision for my FD

I am undecided on what I should do for my FD, I got hit and messed up my front right fender and front bumper. I am stuck between buying the stock bumper, 99' bumper, and any other front bumper, but mainly between the two. My car is daily driven so any fibergalss bumper will probably be distroyed in a week. What do you all think. Pics of my car below

If you have the money go 99 spec.. If not.. just put a 99 spec lip on the stock bumper

OEM 99 Spec with the plate.

All those replicas that have the plate-holder shaved off look horrid.

Your car would look fantastic with a OEM 99 front, after that the exterior is DONE. (except maybe some OEM sides later)

+1 for 99 plated, you already have the wing, and the wheels would compliment it nicely

I just got back from the insurance people and they gave me 2k to work with. They didn't want to include the bumper since its plastic and could be fixed. I want to track my car so i might go with the 99' just because it has the bigger openings. Does anyone know if i can get a secound license plate for a state that doesn't require a second plate. I think it will look nicer then a rx7 plate. I was also looking to put apexi sideskirts on, there cheaper then the 99' sideskirts and they look almost the same, what do you think?

Don't put a second plate on the front if you dont have to. Buy one of the black RX-7 plates... at least I would.

The apexi sideskirts are nice if you dont want to go oem. the Feed sides are nice too-

Yes!! Painted front 99spec lip on a 99spec bumper + apexi lip = the best painted combo!!

it is not needed if you do not mind cutting the existing rebar? I just did not think the money for one was worth it at all... I did the install myself and the fitment is great...

What do you cut on the factory rebar to make the 99 fit, the turn signal light?

alot of people hack off the ends of the rebar to make it a fast and easy install... but I cut the top half of the turnlamp holes on the rebar to where the back of the 99 spec bumper will slide into that part I cut... does that make since ?...I also cut out an opening in the front of the rebar.... once the bumper was lined up, I traced out the size of the opening from the bumper to the rebar... I then pulled the bumper back off and cut the rebar( THIS IS THE OPENING BEHIND THE LICENSE PLATE) you do not need to do this step.... it takes a lot of mock fitting and pulling it back off to get it right ...but it was worth it...

i daily drove mine for 2 years with a fiberglass feed bumper and havent had a single problem. Even if you had a problem fiberglass isnt rocket science, its really easy to use.

What are you guys thinking!?! Front license plates look awful unless you have to have it by law! Don't get the 99 spec unless your having the plate holder removed and smoothed out.

Like a heart attack! Plateless 99 spec fronts look awkward, like a big smile. I despise them.

I ended up putting the stock 99' front end with a pair of 99' sideskirts and rear mudflaps. Im really excited because it looks really good, its going to the bodyshop tommarow so in about two weeks I should have pictures. Thanks for you info.

PS: Now I need assistance on what plate to put on the car. I shaved off all the badges on the car so I dont want to put an rx7 plate (I like to have people guessing). I was thinking about an authetice Japanes plate, or a plain black plate with some rotary depiction on it. Anyone have any simple rotary pic's and what do you think?. Thanks.
