Need help with install of Pioneer DEHP-7400mp with Scosche Harness into 1st gen

Just the antenna turn on thing or doesn't the Pioneer work at all?
The upto89-Mazda power antennas are ground switched (like hands free units). So you need a relay that is turned on by the +12V of the Pioneer antenna signal and thats switches the Mazda antenna wiring to ground.
Maybe that's the reason why your Pioneer doesn't work at all. Could have been a short circuit when connecting the antenna remote to the Mazda wiring. I do hope only a fuse inside the Pioneer went up.

Use an online translator if you do not understand the pinout.
