In need of a boost guage -- should I get the steering column mount?

SPI from PFS. I had to mod the pod to fit the gauge. I like the gauge a lot, but it isn't really a good match for the RE pod since it is too deep. It fits fine after I worked on it for a while, but you would be better off starting with something that fits better.

I think the most cost-effective solution would be a DIN mounted guage pod, with three gauges: Boost, Water Temp., and A/F.

I was thinking of getting the center-speaker mount as well, but I don't want to really replace that speaker.

You should consider going to seven stock. There will be lots of FD's there. You will be able to look at the way many people have mounted gauges, and decide what you like best.

OK, the pod didnt fit your car, but this is how it fits on the UK/European models.

The gauge itself is not the RE A. unit, but one of those is on its way.
