well since it was sitting for a week or 2 i decided to start up and get the fluids moving and i wanted to take it for a test drive so i went out as i was returning home and my car starts buckin and back fireing and as it is bucking the check engine light is coming on and off... final the car didnt even have enought power to move and when i shut the engine off i heard a whining noise and after a few sec the noise went away...
damn, you think you lost an apex or what? have you done a compression check?
sorry about your car, but dont loose hope, ive been right where you are before, and im still fixing stuff on my car 1year after, IM NERVER GONNA GIVE UP
my motor blew a coolantseal a couple of months ago so i have lots of work ahead of me this winter,

well two months and still not much progress, i took the dr side wheel off to try and start to bend the head light bracket back and apparently when the bracket was pused back from the impact it pushed my wiring harness onto the wheel and when i drove it home and took it for a few runs around my neiborhood the wheel had been incontact w/ the wiring harness and messed it up. so there are about 10-15 wires exposed and touching each other so i have to fix that too now, one can only wonder if those wires grounding out may have messed my engine up... pics later.
damn, I'm really sorry to see this happen to you. I just read this thread today and like you, and the others, was getting all excited coming up on the last couple of pages. Stick to it bro, I feel your pain on the finances and how **** rolls down hill. but hey, all the bad crap has happened, the monsoon is over. Blue sky should be heading your way now. Best of luck with finishing this, I'm looking forward to it, especially since your doing it yourself, damn...Nice work! ! !
Hey bro sorry about ur car, but just a couple quick questions about the quality of the kit, did it have any ripples or waves on the actual pieces any work needed to be done to any of the parts before primer, like any bog work apart from preping them for the primer im looking to buy I dont want to pay all this money and have to spend more money getting them to look mint.
Urs was lookin pretty sexy aye but pics dont do justice so just wanna know first hand cheers.

thanks guys for all the kind words, still dont have much money but im hopeing to get my real estate license soon and hopefully make some good dough but untill then she is still sitting in my garage.
arman- the kit is of great quality and i will always purchase products from shine be cause they are such a great company, the kit needed almost no work except the rear flares and there were no waves either.

Man this is the saddest story I have ever read...
dropping like 5 g's on your rx7 while your in college is awesome, I couldn't afford
gas for my Geo.
I am about to do my whole exterior over I have the RE-Amemiya full kit and VIS KS hood I am doing all at once this month.
If any one is looking I will post picks of the progress, should happen all this month.
it'd be cool to get some feedback
