lol very very nice. i like everything about it cept... zOMG the swirls! its in need of some clay, 2 step polish, and sealant. PM me if you need some pointers.

*RX007* 05-25-06 10:12 PM

ya actual the swirls where there when i bought it so you can blame me ;) after i get her painted ill do a nice buff and polish or pay someone to do it :)

Sgt. Pepper 05-26-06 12:17 AM

Wow, it looks great. Can't wait to see the finished product.

*RX007* 05-26-06 12:38 AM

thanx well ul proly see it next friday.

Spooln7 05-26-06 01:47 AM

Damn that looks very nice, can't wait to see the finished product. Also how much did you end up paying for the whole kit from Shine Auto?

*RX007* 05-26-06 03:03 AM

with shipping and and the body parts was around $1,700 and thats the group buy price, its also made out of a hybrid fiberglass that is very flexible like abs. and if u order the kit from the only other dealer in america which is memoryfablab.com it cost $3,000+ i think that now that the gb is over the kit is slightly more expensive

s-thetikz 05-26-06 03:22 AM

my FEED II Type R front cost me around 2g's, that sounds like a great deal. those fenders are obnoxiously wide though, you may want to flare out your rears to compensate. looks great, can't wait for the repaint !

*RX007* 05-26-06 03:34 AM

thanx, the fenders are 20mm wider than stock and i actualy do have rear fender flares but you have to drill holes in the quarter panels and thent cover the skrews w/ bondo so im gonna wait untill she gets in to the paint shop to put them on.

FDeez 05-28-06 07:46 AM

I hope some wide rims are coming to complement those wide fenders. Otherwise, it'll look incomplete. Hope to see it sometime in person.

Ehron 05-28-06 11:07 AM

No one bought rims as we were unsure of the size of the fender flares. Waiting on someone to post actual size so we can get the correct offsets.

kwman 05-28-06 05:16 PM

Sounds like you have your stuff together. Good to see someone take their time with something like this. Make sure you get everything right, especially those rear fenders and wheel offsets, those things will make or break the car.

Keep me updated and post some pics when you're finished. I'm very interested to see how this turns out.

efini_kid 05-28-06 07:24 PM

the burnout kit is myfav. what rear are u goin to run or do uhave the burnout rear end for the car?

*RX007* 05-28-06 07:56 PM

ya i know that we are unsure of the offset but i think that a +30 should be good, ill take it to a wheel place and figure it out.

and i do have the full kit just havent put on.

*RX007* 08-04-06 02:02 PM

ok so i know its been 2 months since i posted anything but i have been super busy w/ other stuff, so i just got done putting the rear bumper on and i have to say that the fillement is awsome :bigthumb: so here are a few pics, ill post some better ones once there is some light out side :)

looks good. just a nice set of rims should set it off. i was thinking of the 99 spec front bumper for my car, but the clean lines and simple looks of the burnout kit are throwing another option into the equation. thanks for the write up. continue taking pics for us as it progresses.

7_rocket 08-05-06 12:22 PM

So this is what all the fuss was about with the burnkout kit... Im not impressed..

ZumSpeedRX-7 08-05-06 12:57 PM

it looks like what happens when you fuse a 99 spec front bumper and a mazdaspeed front bumper. not too bad looking all in all. the widened fenders are completely useless without a wide set of rims and tires though. i retract my previous statement, i think im gonna go 99spec w/o liscense plate.

*RX007* 08-05-06 07:38 PM

oh ya i plan on alot nicer wheels... Gram Lights 57 Pros. w/ some low offset to fill in the flares nicely, so here are a few more pics, i mocked up the rear fenders and side skirts.
