If you had your mind on the 57Pros, get the 57Pros. have you ever seen rotorboys Brilliant Black with Bronze 57Pros? its the stuff that dreams are made of!

it's lookin good. i cant wait to see how it comes out.

damn you for that piuc j/k im already havin a hard time deciding and then u go and post that pic...lol, that car is super clean especialy w/ those rims is it urs?

Man, that car's gonna be sick nasty dookie dumb (yes all of those are compliments) when it's all done. I'm starting a photo+detailing business, so let me know when you're done Preston, I'll offer my errmmhhhh...services...for a lower price
thanx, that sounds great, ive seen the pics u take and you are a great photagrapher, id love to get some professional shots of the car when its done!

Hey man, nice job on the car so far. It's really awesome that your managing to do the work on your own. It's definitely coming along very nicely.

Regarding the offsets and rims, my rims are delayed AGAIN. This is getting to be some serious bullshit, but I can't do anything at this point. Now I'm looking at early-mid October before they arrive. If you want you can always search in the suspension/tire section of this forum under "Farhan" username and I had a detailed discussion with Rynberg regarding offsets. Hope that helps. Goodluck.

thanx, hopefuly it will come out well seeing this is my first attempt at body work, i have done so much frickin reasearch tho so everything should be ok.

i have looked around abit, and what i am think is just going to auto rnd and maybe have some rims test fitted if thats possible to see what offset gives the car the right stance. it will be awhile untill ill be able to aford some rims anyway especialy the 57pros, so im not really in a hury.

You need to remove more of the paint (sand to bare metal) around the area where the fender is being put. THen apply a special adhesive product for polyester resin to attach to the metal, then put some light tissues on the metal first, sand the inside of the fenders end put them on the wet resin/tissue base. You can then overlay the fender onto the tissue base on the metal.

Only in this way you reduce the difference in stretch between metal an polyester material. It's even advisable to sand quite some space to the metal and overlay it as a base to reduce stretch in that area. This will prevent cracks for a longer period of time and spare you the cost of having the car reworked and resprayed every 2 years.

You may want to remove your rear bumper and side skirts so that you retain the seams. As it sits in the picture you will have partially blended gaps both in front of and behind the flare.

i thought about that but id rather have it molded, i thought to my self, would i ever need to take the rear bumper off? and i dont think i really will, front bumper is a differnt story tho. and to gaps u are talking about, the ones inside the wheel well? if you are tlaking about those then i have already fixed that, it looks much differnt than the pic right now, and unfortunetly i didnt get a chance to primer it but i finished all the prep work so that will be the first thing 2marrow

You're right, it is normal. Check out the one profile shot of the KS Auto car and you'll see what I mean. Good luck on the car BTW. I can't wait to see the finished product.
