My FC audio setup

Hey just installed a new sterio system in my FC a couple of days ago and thought some fellow FC owners might be interested!

It's nothing to "X-treme" but it's clean and sounds quality

Here's what I bought:

Kenwood 800W amp
Orion 10" subwoofer and box to suit
Kenwood 6" speakers for the rear
Kenwood 4" speakers up the front
JVC USB mp3 head-unit for the moment

I was able to get the 4" speakers into the stock positions in my series 4. I was surprised at how well they put out. Plus it looks very need and stock still.

Here's a little video of it, it's only at about %40 volume!

Didn't have any major vibration issues either... except for the number plate. I had to put a piece of sponge between it and the car it was vibrating so loud

But yes, very happy with the sound of it. I would have paid about $900 aussie dollars all up for it.

Some piccies:

Should we start taking bets on how quickly it gets jacked out in the open like that? =)

Not to mention how much constant sun exposure is gonna wtfpwn that woofer.

I'm doing a sound system in mine this week, gonna go 5.25" up front and 6.5" in back, with an 8" powered sub mounted vertically behind the driver's seat facing the windshield (I have the storage tubs).

I'll have pictures up when it's all done.

Car cover FTW nah but you're right, it's like sitting in a display cabinet just screaming for a theif to take it!. When it's at home I have a cover over the car so I'm not so worried then. Looking at making a boot cover like my mate did for his FC to cover it all.

Yeah cool man post them up when it's done

Oh and... it's not always sunny so should be pretty safe

I'm not sure on the brand, it came with the car! I'm getting a new trust one soon so I might give this one away if I'm happy with the new one
