Talking more cf stuff :D

Well here are the pics of the 2 things I made today, first being a din pannel for a stock FD din pannel which can hold a single autometer guage (I can easily punch more holes in there, just had only 1 guage to mount right now)

Second and more importantly (cuz lets face it, its friggen easy to make that first one ) is a Steering columb gauge pod out of CF. What do you think?

note: the CF in the center which is screwed up will but cut away to allow for the gauge Dont worry about that

As for now, unless I find a new way of making these, I will not be making very many of these steering wheel gauge pods (unless people are willing to pay 100+ dollars), they are amazingly hard to pull from the originals/plugs! I would rather make 100 R1 front lips rather then to make another one of these suckers... we will see though, I have an idea about how to make these much easier but only time will tell.

Here are some more pics, the cf peice I cut out was to the stock lines so they are not gonna fit exactly on to the stock steering wheel cover, its actually suppose to replace it but i just might mod it so you can slap/glue it on to the stock one (the pettie version does not come with any clips or anything so it must be glued to the steering columb/under side). On another note, it looks like its off center when i put it on to my dash which it very well might have been but all you gotta do is to push it more toward the center, the final version will be centered. You might also notice that I now have 2 boost gauges in my car hehe (the one in the center pod just happens to be an extra autometer gauge I had so I could test fit it and cut that hole)

Oh, and as always, this peice has not been clearcoated or anything so dont expect it to look all pretty pretty just as of yet, (infact, this paticular peice isnt even fully dry yet haha, I made it about 2 hours ago with another method )
