Question Miata steering wheel hub for FD?

I'm new to the board and was hoping I could get a definitive answer regarding steering wheel hubs. I have searched the site exhaustively and have read damn near every post on the matter, but a lot of old links are broken and have left me a little confused on the matter.

I'm about 6 feet tall with long legs and have a hell of a time fitting them under the wheel in my '93 FD. I want to go with a slightly smaller Momo wheel (probably a Millennium Sport), but of couse, I need to find a hub. As I understand it, the Mazdaspeed hub isn't made anymore, and the hubs for the FC require modification so the horn will work and the airbag bulb won't light up. Once and for all, is it true that a 1st gen Miata hub will work just like the old Mazdaspeed hub, and if so, is this the one I want? :

Thanks in advance.

Thumbs up

Excellent, Thanks! Are you happy with the Millennium wheel, and is it significantly smaller than the stock one (350mm vs. 380mm, I believe)? I've only had my FD for a short time but I just can't find a comfortable position.

i hope the one i just bought off ebay is going to work...

generic "mazdaspeed" hub, for the miata (n/a), also for the FC....at least that's how they're listed....

i have an FB, 85. i heard they are all interchangeable.

by the way, i searched hard, but there is one place on ebay that sells the hubs that say "MS" and "mazdaspeed on the horn button". i paid $15.45 for mine plus $15 shipping in the U.S. they don't always come up, i waited a while for it to show up.
