LED's
Does anyone know how to wire them in? what resistors for what volts? how about bunch wiring? Just looking for basic help or a great write up. Thanks -Dave

If you use it on your car then the voltage is around 12V and usually the voltage and amperes in a led is around 2.1 V(volts) and 20mA(milliamperes). From there we get:
12 V - 2.1 V/0.02 A = 495 Ohm resistor and the longer 'leg' on the LED is the positive(+) and short the negative(-).
The blue ones work usually at around 3.8 Volts. Check before you buy the resistors what is the specs of the LED.
Please somebody feel free to correct, long time since school...

Depending on your application, you may be able to find the stuff you are looking for at Autolumination.com. If you are doing some custom wiring with loose LEDs, then samiralfey's math looks right...like he said just be sure to check your specs before you wire stuff.
