LED tailights

Has anybody used the led bulbs at autozone for their rear taillights? I would love to try them but they are like $16 a piece. I want my taillights to look like the new cadi STS lights. I love the way they just go on & off immediately.

I'm going to have to look into that. Sounds sweet.

The back of a cadalic uses them, their highly bright of the cover isnt somewhat dim. EX. you couldnt use them on altez. lights.

Another reason I was asking is because I saw them on some maxima's altezza lights. They would work for us though right?

Gotta watch those though. Can't see them for squat during the day. If they're the ones I'm thinking of, they only have elements that point straight back so they don't hit the reflector at all. www.ledtronics.com has some with about 6-8 elements that point 360 degrees around top to bottom so they well give you better light output. The downside? Heh...well, look at the price and you'll see why. I've got the same ones (from like Pep Boys)on my daily driver. Already been pulled over for having my lights out.
