knees and steering is NRG the solution?

just bought an fd3s and my knees hit the steering mind you is a tuner wheel, I feel that with an nrg hub plus the extender and a quick release would do the trick as it should add at least 6 inches of knee room

what do you guys think?

it should look something like this

I ended up using that on top of a works bell huband it worked for me. Also i have a nardi deep corn wheel so it pushed it towards me another couple of inches. the nrg one you posted should to what you need in order to clear your knees, just remember that your wiper and turn signal stalks are going to be miles away

Links aren’t working. Can reload them? Have the same issue and wonder what your final solution looks like.

Thanks!

Thanks buddy!

How do you like the feel of it? It looks a little extreme for my application but you definitely won’t have to worry about knee clearance.

That just looks so strange to me haha. But if your over 6'-0" 200lbs like myself its definitely a cure for bumping knees.

I ended up buying a Sparco 63mm deep dish wheel (015R345) and Sparco quick release (015R98TR) and it fixed my problem...

6’2” 215 here...

I’m not sure I’ll need the extender. I plan to use a Nardi Deep Corn wheel which should do the trick with the hub adapter.

Your setup looks trick, but maybe a little too racy for me...

Grab a deep dish wheel and hub adapter youll be set. Ill try and dig up so pictures...

At 280lbs I can see why the extender is needed but at my size 210 the deep dish was perfect
