black will still look good if you leave the mirrors black... or even if you dont, i think it will still look good. silver or gunmetal might look ok...

i think they will actually look BETTER to you after you get your hood painted. leave them black until you the hood painted. then decide. if i had to choose, i would do a bright silver, like mercury. but i say leave them black until after you get the hood painted.
also, if you were going to paint the rims a lighter color, you should consider painting the mirrors and body moldings red as well, to make the car look more complete. they dont look bad now with black wheels, but with lighter wheels the car may look cheap

if the only thing you have to say is something negative, then don't post. it takes up your precious time needed to think about your pathetic life, and doesn't help anyone.
everyone else, thanks!

Wow, there is a large stick up your ***. Get over yourself.
Anyway, Im sure those S2Ks will be on the road longer than my FD, seeing that it was stolen and stripped a month ago.
Anyway, what I was sayin is, people generally dont have a clue how to paint and think you just shake a can and you got great rims. Nope. People usually end up with light spots, dark spots, dried drips, missed spots, rubs, streaks, etc. And then they are left with terrible looking rims that they cant sell anymore. And no, I havent seen any good paint jobs on rims, even at car shoes. There were even some flubs at SEMA.
So why attempt to paint and ruin perfectly good rims?

because i know how to do it. i did them with my stock phone dials to see if i wanted black rims for my car, and everyone thought they were powdercoated. i just have a problem with poeple who waste their time posting something negative instead of something helpful. say yay or nay and move on.
sorry to hear about your car. i had my old car broken into so i know how you feel.
