Just my idea...Opinions welcome

What do you guys think about swapping out the 99 spec combos (turn signal/parking) for a set of 99-2002 S15 Silvia lights. Sure- they are going to require a bit of fabrication,
but light output/safety would be improved and you could opt to use the pop ups or not. The shape of the housing looks really close to the curves on the FD's bumper, so it would keep the lines of the car intact. They also are shaped like the combos, minus the side marker wrap around. Anyways, might just do it to a spare aftermarket bumper for kicks.

That is a really interesting idea...can anyone photochop that to see the look. Is the plan to replace the RX7 headlights and use the sylvia lights as your new headlights?

Kind of, I want to go with the Rotary Run Racing housings. I've got two independent turbos that will will need fresh air ducts(I want to use the outer/larger holes used in the housings). Even with h.i.d. projectors in the inner locations, I'm thinking the light coverage will be inadequate. The Silvia lights save the turn signal and add extra projectors+ headlamps that would compliment/match the stock pop ups if some one even wanted to go that route. Overall win/win for my needs. I have to cut into my bumper already for the new R.R.R. housings. I really like the turn signal lamps on the Silvia, that's what got me thinking. Body work/fiberglass, bracket fabrication isn't an issue. I would like to see someone do a quality photoshop rendering.

The S15 lights are WAY bigger than the 99 bumper lights.

I don't think this would come out very well.

Does anyone have any measurements on the Silvia lights? The height would be a good indicator.

^^ +1, I don't see that looking good either. They are too big to be placed on the location of the bumper lights/signals, which will give the front a sagged down look.

Something like the one in blue car can work along with a nice bumper, but with your idea you'll end up with something looking similar to the yellow car; ugly imo.
