Just installed half my sound system...wow...

I have recently put in Infinity Kappa 5.25" speakers in the front, Pioneer 6 x 8" in the back, and a Kenwood exCelon KDC-X569 head unit and it sounds extremely good. It is the clearest and most crisp sound I have ever heard. The bass, without a subwoofer yet, is lacking but for the mids and highs it does NOT GET ANY BETTER in my opinion. I plan on getting an Infinity Perfect 12" sub with a 300 watt amp to top my system off.

I highly recommend the Kenwood KDC-X569 head unit - once I put that in it sounded amazing. I got it off ebay at $220.

If you're looking to upgrade your sound system in your non-bose car, I would very much recommend my configuration - I don't see how you would be dissapointed.

Not a big Kenwood guy, also I hope that Infinity has done a better job with the Kappas then when they fisrt came out or your speakers will be dead in a few months.
