As I was shopping for speakers, I found a practically new, Rio Car MkIIa 60Gb model. I'll be using it with my RFX-8250 in the dash of my FD.

I'd guess that the red faceplate will look better with the gauges in the car than would the original blue one?

Does anyone have one of these in their FD? If so, do you have any pics you can post?

Yeah, the forum, or my connection was really screwed up yesterday. Traffic must have been ultra heavy?

5 identical posts is what happens when you hit post, wait a few minutes while nothing seemingly happens, and then hit post again, and again... 5 times.

I tried deleting the excess posts, but the delete box doesn't seem to work?

I also was unable to change the subject for my pleas to admin to delete the excess duplicates.

Oh well... anyone have a RioCar in their FD?

 

This will be so cool when I am the ONLY FD owner with a RioCar installed.

I am planning on using the red lens to match with the FDs gauges.

 

i picked up a mkIIa 60 gb (either that or 80 gb? can't really remember) about 2 years ago. they were going out of business so they were selling them super cheap. never have gotten around to installing it yet though. i also picked up a box for it to mount in for the home theatre, and that's been sitting around for awhile too.

if you don't mind me asking, where'd you find it? was it used? i used to have a FAQ page for the empeg/riocar bookmarked, but have since deleted it. anyways, it seems to be a nice unit, i had it loaded with a few songs to check out the different displays and everything, i really liked it. i need to get off my *** and install it.
