Question,

Will the short NRG HUB work by itself or is it meant to be used in conjunction with their quick release?
I'm not sure how much of a dish you have on the Nardi steering wheel, but with my Sparco Ring which has a 35mm dish my hands hit on the turn signal stalks with just the the short hub. I only put the wheel directly on the short hub because I had to move my car and my quick release hadn't come in yet.

Thanks to Alex Rodriguez

He directed me to a 97 Miata hub which he says works. $16.96 total shipped

Does that hub have provisions for the horn and airbag resistor?

Air Bag resistor? I already have a aftermarket wheel with no air bag. The light isn't tripped so I imagine that was taken care of before.

Horn? I'm not sure.

Is there a how too on here somewhere for an aftermarket steering wheel install?

It'd be great if air bag resistors and horn connections were explained a little more. I did a quick search but there isn't a straight up DIY thread. Sounds like another task for Dale Clark hahaha.

Search Alex Rodriguez, he did a little write up. Kind of.

Yeah, I don't know of a straight cut DIY thread.

The reason I ask is that the Works Bell hubs, while expensive, take care of those issues for you. Otherwise, you'll have to do some rigging like Alex did which is doable, just not the best option when there are proper products available.

Got the retainer, but I'm still not sure. Are the prongs on the bottom of the horn supposed to stick out far? I can't really get them out that far to grab on. Heck, I might not even need it with the new hub.

Gonna have a bunch of new worthless parts laying around from blind ordering

Not sure what the retainer ring is, but if your hub is anything like the WB, the Nardi horn will just ground itself when pushed on to the hub. Just connect the wire and snap in place...

Anybody searching this in the future who is worried about the SRS light, you can buy the airbag resistor and fuse from Works Bell for $20. Just make sure to buy the one with FEMALE connectors. Its plug and play.

New wheel and shift ****. Sorry, interior is filthy right no. Also don't mind the height of the shift ****, it's not screwed down all the way. Waiting on new boots before I finalize it.

Is the horn working right now , just bolt on and all things work??
Or what have you done to make it work?

330mm wheel, and seeing the gauges aren't any worse than my previous wheel.

Horn isn't hooked up yet. I just slapped the wheel on there a few nights ago. Too hot to really get down and dirty. I already know how I'm going to do it, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes. My biggest issue is getting the horn button to stay in the hole, it's fits a little snug in there but I can imagine it flying out after a hard launch.
